FIRES BURNING at The Robbie Burns ignite your heart with a night of original music, ancient wisdom in poetry, and connecting with kindred spirits through Art.
Musical Artist Corinne Gibbons collaborating with world renowned and respected visual artist Katie Pye. Katie will perform poetry accompanied by Corinne's compositions. Corinne will perform her new body of work “Mender of Hearts”. Corinne has toured around the world for over 20 years and this show will be the first offering of all the new material she has composed during the past 2 years.
Corinne has spent years touring Australia and the world, singing, and also offering team building through song. Told with unique style, sparkling warmth and humour, Corinne's book 'Ten Reasons Why Singing is Freedom' powerfully captures the challenges and pleasures of one woman forging ahead against all odds, finding her voice and capturing the spark of life on a challenging journey, that strengthened, and ultimately healed her. This book is a gentle invitation to the healing benefits of singing and how it invites serendipity into your life.
